  • Dennis & Andretti agree multi-year contract

2022/23 Formula E Champion, Jake Dennis, has signed a multi-year contract extension with Andretti Global and will remain with the team into Season 13 and beyond.

The news comes five years after Dennis’ Formula E debut at the Diriyah E-Prix in 2021. Since then, Dennis and Andretti have formed one of the longest running and most successful driver-team pairings in the history of the all-electric championship, accumulating seven race wins, 24 podiums and over 700 points.

Dennis 2025/26 Formula E campaign got off to a strong start, with a victory from pole at the Sao Paulo E-Prix.
Since the opening race, the Andretti driver has managed to score points in all, but one, of the following rounds. He currently sits 8th in the drivers’ championship on 39 points.

I’m absolutely thrilled to be signing a multi-year deal with Andretti Global. For me, it made perfect sense to continue our partnership and my career with the team, a team which I’ve been with from the start of my Formula E career. The belief the team has shown in me over the years has been incredible, and that trust means a huge amount. We’ve built something really strong together, and I’m proud to continue that journey with a group of people I know so well and genuinely enjoy working with. There have been so many great memories together, and I’m confident we can continue our success into the future.

I am beyond pleased to be able to make this announcement. At the time, when the team, along with BMW, initially partnered with Jake, we never could have imagined how the relationship would develop. Jake has been  an integral part of Andretti Formula E’s transformation into one of the series’ leading teams of today. His  commitment to us, his belief in the team and ours in him, is one of the key reasons for all of the success we  have been fortunate enough to have experienced together. We look forward to closing out the current season as strong as we started it before transitioning to Season 13 together.

  • Drugovich joins Andretti

Andretti has confirmed that Felipe Drugovich will join the team for the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

The 2022 FIA Formula 2 Champion will partner with Season 9 Drivers’ World Champion Jake Dennis to complete Andretti Formula E’s driver lineup for the final season of GEN3 Evo.

The Brazilian driver brings a championship-winning pedigree and broad international motorsport experience in single-seater and sports car competition to the Andretti Formula E team, highlighted by a dominant 2022 FIA Formula 2 Drivers’ Championship run that saw Drugovich earn five wins, 11 podiums and finish 101 points clear of his closest rival.

Since 2022, Drugovich has served as a reserve driver for the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team, taking part in multiple Free Practice 1 sessions.
He has also gained endurance racing experience at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in IMSA with Cadillac Racing, while showcasing his speed in Formula E by topping the 2023 Berlin Rookie Test and scoring points on debut at the 2025 Hankook Berlin E-Prix.

Drugovich becomes the first Brazilian driver to race for Andretti Formula E, joining a rich lineage of Brazilian talent who have competed in the series, including inaugural champion Nelson Piquet Jr, Bruno Senna, Felipe Massa and Season 3 Champion, Lucas di Grassi.

I’m so happy to announce that I’ll be joining Andretti Formula E, and I’m really excited about what’s ahead. My team and I have been in touch with Andretti ever since I won the Formula 2 title, so it’s great  that we’ve managed to stay connected all this time and finally have the opportunity to work together. It’s been far too long for me without racing, so I’m incredibly motivated to get back on a racetrack. It means a lot to know I’ll be competing in every session and not just serving as a reserve, as I have done the past few years. I’m very thankful to the entire Andretti Global organization for believing in my potential and for being so supportive. A special thanks also to Roger [Griffiths] for reaching out and making this happen. I’m focused, motivated and excited for the future, and I know that Andretti has all the tools in place for me to achieve success. I’m confident this new chapter together will be a memorable one.

  • Askew rejoins Andretti as reserve

Oliver Askew has rejoined the Andretti Formula E team, reuniting with the team with which he contested his sole season in the electric open-wheel category in 2021-22.

The American will serve as an additional reserve driver for the team alongside compatriot Jak Crawford, stepping in when Crawford – who is competing in Formula 2 this year – is unavailable.

Askew contested the final season of Formula E’s GEN2 ruleset for Andretti, finishing in the points three times. Including on his debut in Diriyah, and later taking a best result of fourth in the first race of that season’s London E-Prix.

Askew’s first race trackside was the Miami E-Prix on April 12th, when Crawford was in Bahrain.

Prior to that, Askew took the 2019 Indy Lights title with Andretti, winning seven times – including four times on the bounce in the second half of the season.
He went on to graduate to the IndyCar series with Arrow McLaren SP the following year.

As well as being on-hand to step in the absence of the team’s race drivers Jake Dennis and Nico Mueller, as well as Crawford, Askew will contribute to the development of Andretti’s Porsche 99X Electric by working in the team’s simulator to test software updates and refine car setups.

I’m thrilled to reunite with this talented team, especially since so many familiar faces from Season 8 are still onboard. I can’t wait to dive in and support the team in fine-tuning the car on the simulator as we push through the rest of the season together.
    Askew on the news.

While Jak remains our primary reserve and development driver, due to overlapping calendars with Formula E and Formula 2, it’s an advantage for us to have the ability to bring in an additional reserve driver – particularly someone of Oliver’s caliber – in such a demanding championship. Oliver’s prior experience with our team and knowledgeable understanding of the series make him an excellent fit, and we’re confident he will provide valuable input behind the scenes.
