  • Leon joins Campos Racing for 2026

    Campos Racing have confirmed the signing of Noel Leon for the 2026 Formula 3 season – completing their lineup for next year following the announcement of Nikola Tsolov.

    Leon steps up to F2 after two seasons in Formula 3, achieving six podiums across both campaigns and finishing 10th in the Drivers’ Championship as a rookie in 2024.

    Prior to that, the Mexican driver won the 2023 Euroformula Championship. He also took the 2019/20 NACAM Formula 4 Championship title and the 2021 US F4 Championship.

    Leon is now set to take the next step in his career by graduating to Formula 2 and at the announcement, he expressed his delight at being able to do so with Campos.

    We are proud to welcome a driver of Noel’s caliber to our FIA Formula 2 team for 2026. His titles in junior single-seater categories speak for themselves, and I am convinced he has plenty to say in FIA Formula 2, even as a rookie. At Campos Racing, we will provide him with all the tools necessary to ensure his adaptation to the category is as quick and effective as possible.

  • PREMA sign Noel Leon for 2025

    Noel Leon will be moving to PREMA Racing for the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season, the Italian team has confirmed.

    The Mexican driver completed his rookie campaign this year with Van Amersfoort Racing and managed to earn four podiums and a further seven top 10 finishes across the year.

    Prior to his step up to F3, Leon achieved the 2019/20 NACAM Formula 4 Championship title and the 2021 US F4 Championship the following year.
    He then went on to race in the Formula Regional European Championship in 2022, where he scored 3 points.

    In 2023, Leon took part in the Euroformula Open Championship where he won the title. He grabbed 7 wins, 5 poles and 394 points.

    Leon recently took part in post-season testing with PREMA at Jerez, achieving the 12th fastest time across the two-day event in Spain.

    I am super happy and proud to join PREMA Racing for my second FIA Formula 3 season. I’m very thankful for their trust, and I can’t wait to start working with the team and prepare for the season. I will give my absolute best to fight for both championships.

    Noel put up some impressive showings this year, and we are happy to welcome him for the season. He has valuable experience in the series and great room for further improvement. Having already worked together in the Jerez test, we think he will be a good fit within our team, and we look forward to continuing the work.

  • Van Amersfoort recruit Noel Leon for 2024

    Being part of Van Amersfoort Racing has been a joy so far. We did the post-season tests and Macau together which was a positive experience and great preparation for the upcoming season. I cannot wait for the season to start!
