Alejandro Garcia will be racing with Jenzer Motorsport in the FIA Formula 3 Championship this year. The Mexican driver is the first of the team’s three drivers to be confirmed for the upcoming season.
The 19 year old graduated from karting to single-seater racing in 2018, competing in the NACAM Formula 4 Championship and securing three podium finishes as a rookie.
A switch to Spanish F4 in 2020 followed and he competed in a further season there in 2021. Last year, Garcia raced in the Euroformula Open Championship, ending the campaign seventh in the Drivers’ Standings.
He also took part in FIA F3 post-season testing with Jenzer last year, notching up 174 laps in Jerez.
I am very pleased to be racing in FIA Formula 3 with Jenzer Motorsport this season. I am really looking forward to work on my development as a driver to achieve good results throughout the season, I am really looking forward to make the most out of what will surely be a challenging season, with a steep learning curve. I would specially like to thank my Sponsors, Family and Management for this opportunity and I can’t wait to get started with official testing in Bahrain!

Alejandro is a rookie in FIA F3 this season, and as we know well from experience, this can be hard at times. Alejandro’s step into this ultra-competitive environment will be a big challenge. We will work hard together and look forward to be on track in Bahrain.
